“Even if it was recommended by our friends who passed their holidays in Strunjan last year, Villa Aurora exceeded our expectations: a perfect combination of feeling you at home in a tasteful equipped house and in the same time carefree holidays in a beautiful country. It was hardly to believe: so quiet and peaceful only a few kilometers walking from Piran and some 600 meters from the sea. One morning even a roe passed in the garden. Either you prefer nature or culture:

“We have had a very relaxing week-it is so nice to see the sun- and feel very privileged to have stayed in such a beautiful, secluded house so near the sea. We have also enjoyed the abundant wildlife and will certainly return in the near future! Good luck and thank you, children, for sharing your toys and games! “

“Dear Ana, I just wanted to thank you and your husband for the great holiday in Strunjan which was enabled because of Villa Aurora!! We had wonderful time and everything was as great as we expected. We went snorkling around in Slovenia, Croatia and Italy. We spent one day in Trieste and another in Venice;that went so smoothly.Lipizzaners were the must for me and those we saw, too.Weather was lovely, too. I hope everything was ok after we left, at least we watered your plants and flowers and cleaned the house before we left... Thank you one more time for giving us the oportunity to discover great places of Slovenia and it's surroundings! Wish you both very nice and warm rest of the summer. “ |

“Thanks a lot from me and all my family !!! The villa is absolutely great, large and comfortable inner spaces, we was living in both maisonettes (8 person), plenty of room for everybody, nicely furnished, toys for kids, games, table tennis... what I can say? everything you may need!.... Veranda is great!, spent there a 1/4 of our three week visit to Slovenia, nice mountain-salt lake view. The location is perfect - 10 minutes walk to the beach, 7 to 10 minutes drive to all the Slovenia's main costal cities, couple of nice restaurants in 10-15 minutes walk, 30 minutes drive to Italy, to an interesting city - Trieste . Villa lies in Strunjan National Park with pheasants, deers and ...... hedgehogs living next to you (A DREAM). The place is absolutely fantastic, quit, relaxing, clean and fresh, making a right atmosphere for vacation! ....I can continue long :)........ We are coming back! We had a great time at Aurora, Thanks to you Ana ! And thank you for easy and pleasant communication!” |

“We felt at home, immediately. We have enjoyed the peacefulness, the view, the beatiful surrounding, the nice little villages to walk through (Piran is a must!) and of course the beach and the sea. We even found the beautiful beach, down by the Cross. SUPER!!! It was quite an effort to get there, but absolutely worth it!”

“Gorgeous home located in the middle of Strunjan Nature Reserve. The house is relatively new- it was built in 2007 in a place of an old villa. The inside of the house is exactly like on the picture but the surroundings exceeded our expectations. The house faces a huge plot of land that belongs to the property with flowers and an apple tree. As far as the eyes can see, there are rolling hills of the peninsula with olive trees and grape vines. There is a huge place to park that could possibly fit 10 cars. The house itself consists of 2 units that are almost identical. We had a very nice family as our neighbors. There was also an outdoor grill, where we grilled amazing fish bought at a local fish market in Izola. Behind the house there was also a ping pong table which was nice to entertain the kids. We vacationed there with our 2 year old twins and an older daughter. The space was safe to let them roam around on their own. Inside, the house was sparkling clean when we arrived and it was nice to have one air conditioner per floor as a bonus. There were some mosquitos in the evening but they were not a problem if you use one of those burners that scare them off. The most important thing was the beach! There is an easy accessible beach near hotel Svoboda (about 15 minutes walk, 800 meters). It has a cafe, paid parking, showers, entertainment, and tons of people! We were there only for a quick swim. Most of the time we went to the beach in the half moon bay which is about the same distance away but is a bit of a hike. You go up a paved road about 600 meters to the top of the cliffs and then take a trail down to the beach. The trail consists of man- made dirt stairs that our 2-year-olds walked on their own but slow. I recommend wearing normal shoes, although flip flops are doable as well. The half moon beach is probably the most beautiful beach on the Slovenian coast with pristine clear waters and dramatic coastline as well as very few people even on the weekend when it gets a little crazy. I would recommend bringing bikes if you can as there so much to explore in the surrounding area. Restaurants: Koral in Izola (best food we had in Slovenia) or Promorka on the beach near the property is not bad. Grocery shopping: Spar in Izola or Lidl. Also we heard wonderful things about a local farmer market called Koper Agrarno(?) but didn't make it there. Enjoy your stay! ”

Pozdravljena ga Ana!
